Ali & Oli DateNight

Ali and Oli is a game where the player controls two little characters with the goal of making it to the date night platform. The game contains 20 levels that increase in difficulty as you progress through them. Some levels require thinking while others require very precise jumps to advance. The game concept was inspired by Brackey's game, but I made my own movement similar to that of Hollow Night. All in all this was a learning project that helped me get familiar with particle systems and even more familiar with sound design. Hope you all enjoy!

1- Download AliAndOliDateNight1-01.zip

2- Extract the AliAndOliDateNight folder that is inside the AliAndOliDateNight1-01.zip file.

3- Double click the AliAndOliDateNight.exe

4- Enjoy my second game!

Fixes:

- Fixed an issue with one of the invisible platforms being duplicated and the dotted lines not disappearing when the platform was activated.

New Features:

- Introduced a Clear Save button that removes all progress.

Follow the steps bellow if your game is not launching when double clicking the exe file.

1- Right Click on "AliAndOliDateNight.exe"

2- Select "Properties"

3- Click on "Compatibility" Tab

4- Click on "Run Compatibility Troubleshooter"

5- Select "Try Recommended Settings"

6- Click on "Test the program" to make sure it runs

If the game runs

7- Click on "Yes, save these settings for this program"

8- Double click "AliAndOliDateNight.exe" and enjoy!
